I Heart Long Weekends

Thanks everyone for the advice yesterday! I made my decision after talking to my mom. I woke up yesterday and just felt so guilty about not going, even though Brian wasn't upset or anything, but I knew he was a little disappointed even though it was both our faults. So my mom made a great point saying that I probably wouldn't be very productive if I stayed home since I'd be feeling guilty and crappy all day...she's so right. So I hopped in the shower, got ready real fast and met them at the apple place!

I was glad I went, and so was Miranda! She gave me a great big hug when I got there and didn't leave my side all day. She is Brian's step-dad's great niece...I think that's it...his step dad's, sister's granddaughter. She is 5 and she is going to be my flower girl! We both love pink :)

We haven't told her though yet...the fam thinks we should wait a little bit so its closer to that time...to her it will feel like forever away!

So again, I had mucho apples! We ended up driving (our separate cars ;) ) back to Brian's last night and I scrounged a little dinner at his place, we had some ice cream around 4 so I wasn't all that hungry. He had a little leftover broccolini and mashed potatoes that he made the other night.

That worked for me, and then I concocted a little microwave baked apple with some cinnamon, sugar, and then crushed some Shredded Oats cereal on top!

This morning I popped into work for an hour to finish something up, came back here and had a late breakfast of 1 egg and 1 egg white scrambled with a little garlic, broccoli, and herb cherve. I also had the half piece of bread my roommate left me from her bfast yesterday from this place in CT, it had nuts and cranberries in it...yum! I toasted it then topped with a little light cream cheese and pumpkin butter!

Also had half of a grapefruit!
Well I had a tad later start than I had hoped today but now I am going to clean the kitchen, get my nails done, gym, then come back and study and bake! I got my moms pumpkin bread recipe...just needs to be tweaked to be healthified a little.
