Rough Night

Uuuggghh!! Apparently I have a very sensitive stomach when it comes to certain things...I think doubling up on my "daily pill" yesterday (ended up at Brian's Sunday night, and didn't have the new ones with me)...did NOT go over well. Woke up around 2:30am soooo nauseous!! Didn't go away til about 6:30 when I took some Dramamine (don't know what I would do without it!). And when I get nauseous I get it really bad :( No fun, and therefore slept it off a tad, and went into work around 10:30.

Needless to say I didn't have much of an appetite so I just had some black tea with honey to get a little sugar in me.

Around 11 I was getting hungry so I made some toast with a little PB and J and a banana... (not feeling well made packing food really hard...clearly not in the mood for much) Luckily the toast hit the spot!
For lunch I ventured to a soup place for some delicious chicken vegetable soup...its a little on the salty side, but so so good. I had a "big cup" (I'm guessing a 12oz cup), with a packet of oyster crackers.
I also MAJORLY needed caffeine! I didn't have coffee in the morning and I don't think the Dramamine wore off completely yet, so I was SO SO drowsy!! Almost dizzy tired. This called for a TRIPLE grande non-fat cappuccino with 1 pump vanilla :)
Also pictured is the rest of the piece of pumpkin bread I brought in...I'm so glad I was still craving the bread! Sometimes when I get sick, even if the food had nothing to do with it, I can't eat whatever it was that I ate before the sickness kicked in...i.e. the stuffed the thought of it makes me queasy...oh well. I'd rather that then the pumpkin bread!
For a snack this afternoon I had a light Colby Jack snack stick, and an apple (not pictured).

So far feeling much better, just a little weak, so no gym today...just class...BUT then I may go to the first rehearsal for my dance rep show!! Originally it wasn't going to happen because they over booked rehearsal space and we had no where to practice, but now its back on...just later (9pm) I may be late but I think I'll go, just wont exert myself too much.

  3. Have fun at dance! I am so glad you're feeling better! I have done the doubling up before...I felt like total poop afterwards too!

    Don't ever do a quadruple shot though, my boss did once and she was bouncing off the walls!
