Hot and Cold

It's freezing cold here!! Today was a high of 27, Wednesday it will be in the teens and Friday it's going to reach a whopping 11 degrees!! Yesterday morning I went out to shovel the driveway and I felt like Ralphie's little brother in Christmas Story when he get's bundled up for school! Haha!To counter act this COLD I decided to get HOT...Hot Yoga that is! When I went to my first class on Saturday, I found out that new students can get a week long class card for only $20 (when a usual drop in class is $14), so I took the opportunity because even two classes would make the card pay for itself. Well I thought it was just me (but after heard others say), that it was EXTRA hot and sweaty tonight!! Man I was just drenched (sorry for the details). At least it kept me warm for a long time afterwards too.

So my dinner consisted of chilled items...

A few bites of my favorite sea food salad from Russo'sA ginormous carrot!
slicedAt this point my sweaty shirt was starting to make me cold, so I took a hot shower. Then I had what I really wanted...a serious bowl of cerealThis medley consisted of:
  • Kashi Vive
  • TJ's Frosted Wheat bites
  • PB Puffins
  • skim milk
Rewind to breakfast (lunch was provided at work because we had a sales person in talking about a product...I had the inside of half a turkey wrap and half a veggie wrap, I don't like those big restaurant wraps)

Thick slice of Great Harvest nine grain bread, PB, raspberry spread, and a large bananaDelicious and filling. Of course I put banana on the PB during the breakfast eats.

Wedding Season 2009

Many weddings this year, mine included, and I am in 3 others! Sunday we did some dress shopping for my friend Jen...her's is in April.

First let me show you her dress! It's SO beautiful!! Very her. So we wanted to find something to complement it...flowy, pretty... We ended up with these!

Me and roomie modeling! They will be in a latte color...the back is really pretty there are 3 straps that criss cross.

Sorry I will not be sharing my dress until after the big day, but I will start giving bits and pieces of info now and then.

  2. We're having the same kind of weather here- the temp dropped during the middle of the day, got windy and then started snowing, so I couldn't make it to my hot yoga class!
