List Post!! I think Friday Lists are going to be more common on my blog from now on. Usually because I'm busy with this and that and lists make it easier :)
Now for a very random recap:
1. First things first...yesterday I stopped at Whole Foods for a few things and was bombarded by a utopia of chocolate goodies coming at me left and right!! Yes, it was Chocolate night!! Who knew!? I sure didn't. Basically chocolate samples EVERYWHERE, even workers walking around with trays of chocolate for sampling. The best taste I had was the crepe table...she took a crepe(yeah I bought some...weak moment), spread it with strawberry Devonshire cream, sliced banana, rolled it up, cut it up, placed a piece in a sampling cup, topped with dark chocolate sauce and crushed walnuts! WOW. I would of bought the strawberry cream but I decided to wait til next week...maybe a nice V-day dessert? ;)
2. I also bought a new tea! I saw this once on Kath's blog and it sounded so good I was very excited to see it!
3. Came home...was by no means hungry due to the chocolate overload. I cleaned the kitchen and then decided I need to have some real dinner. To counter the chocolate I wanted a fresh salad. All we had in the fridge was lettuce, carrots, and scallions...I also made a dressing of red wine vinegar, EVOO, S&P.A couple slices of sharp cheddar on the side.
4. Also split the last of my TJ's Chicken and Vegetable Shumai with Brian
5. It was then baking time! I can't get too into detail...but I'll let you know all about these next week, you'll see why then.
The sure are cute!6. I also had some fun with paper and gifts!
7. His and hers Tea Time! ( I should of had him use my other "B" mug but it was in the dishwasher)8. Classic Breakfast: 1/2 grapefruit with aTJ's Whole Wheat Cinnamon Raisin British muffin, Barney Butter, and Raspberry fruit spread!
9. Much needed Friday afternoon CappuccinoAlso got a manicure :) (no pic)
10. Gym trip then dinner: Another salad but this time a Balsamic, EVOO, Dijon mustard, honey vinaigretteAlso a mini Flat Out wrap filled with 1 slice Havarti Dill, 1 small can of tuna and a spread of dijon...TJ's baked cheese crunchies on the side!
11. Since then I have been packing and blogging so I can leave to head up to Brians.
12. Tomorrow we have a FUN day! We are heading up to Portland, ME for the day and ending the day with dinner at the MOST AMAZING RESTAURANT EVER!! Seriously I'd take this over ANY restaurant in Boston: Fore Street in Portland! For some reason I can't get to the website, but even if I did there's no menu on there. The menu changes every single day and is based on the freshest ingredients. The best part is the big open kitchen...I love watching the kitchens while at a restaurant like that.
13. I'll be sure to get some great photos of our meal...mmm! We're sort of celebrating our anniversary and Valentines day in one shot!
