Hair Tea Shower

And those things have nothing to do with each other…

So far I am in LOVE with my hair :)  I went back Saturday morning to get it washed out, and blown out and its soooo soft and shiny!  I just keep running my hands through it.  I used dry shampoo yesterday morning so I could get 1 more day out of the blow out…but I definitely have a ways to go on my blow drying skills!  I bought a round brush and went at it last night but I’m such a newbie!  It still looked pretty good today but not NEARLY as sleek and shiny as my hairdresser got it!

Anyone have any good tips for blow drying???

I also can’t wait to see what it does when I let it air dry…it should still have some curl/wave to it, but a lot looser.

In sadder news, my gym is cancelling Body Combat!!  (for now at least).  So sad :(  At least all the Combat classes will still be Kickboxing classes, but they just can’t use the Body Combat music/name anymore.  They are still keeping Body Pump thank god!

At least I had 1 good last Body Combat class last night!

  1. What a bummer about combat! I'm so sorry to hear that :(. Was the class just getting low attendance or?? Your hair looks fabulous! Glad you had a fun weekend too. The food at the shower looks more than drool worthy. Especially the fruit tarts and vegetable pasta. Yum Yum

  2. Glad you got all your tea!

Your orange dress is adorable and the hair looks fabulous!

    My tips on blowouts:
First, make sure you coat your hair with heat protectant and brush through.
Go in sections no bigger than 1 inch in diameter, start at the root, and make sure your brush and blowdryer are constantly moving! Also, keep a tight hold on the brush so you are pulling a bit!
I find the crown is the hardest part because that's where the bumps are, so spend a little extra time- finish with shine spray or more silicon based shine lotion after (like thermasilk)!

Phew! That's what 14 years of practice does!
